Hi, I'm Denis Povarov, a software engineer who has been building digital products for more than ten years. Kookee is one of them. More about me and the other things I build is on denpo.dev.
What Kookee is
Your team writes your product's blog, help center, changelog, announcements and pages in Kookee's dashboard, and your users post their requests on a feedback board with a public roadmap. Your site shows the content through the SDK, the React components or the REST API. Or switch on the hosted portal and build no pages at all. A site widget answers visitors' questions from your help center, and Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor can read and write your entries over MCP.
The facts
Free for good. Every module is on the Free plan, for one project with up to three team members.
Pro and Ultra keep Kookee running. They raise the limits on projects, team members, entries, storage, API requests and AI answers, add custom fields and integrations, and drop the "powered by kookee.dev" badge. Their subscriptions are Kookee's only income. See Pricing.
Your data is never sold.
Your data is stored in the EU.
Who else handles it:
Cloudflare runs the site, sits in front of the API and sends Kookee's emails.
Hetzner and DigitalOcean host the servers and files, in the EU.
OpenAI reads your published help articles and the questions visitors ask, to write the AI answers, and reads the files you import.
Paddle takes payments.
Google Analytics counts visits to kookee.dev, hosted portals included.
Sentry and Bugdump receive error and bug reports.
