Your hosted portal shows content in each of your project's languages, with a picker of those languages and the default language wherever a translation is missing. @kookee/react 1.20.0 adds the announcement pill, list and article, and the widget's fields no longer zoom the page on iPhone.
What's new at Kookee
Every shipped change, ordered newest first.
v1.27.0 — Status page and uptime monitors
New featureA status page for every project, with components, incidents, scheduled maintenance and 90 days of uptime; uptime monitors that check a URL as often as every minute and can open an incident for you; and React components to show the page on your own site.
GET /v1/project gives your site the project's name, default language and portal address, and KookeeProvider takes getPath, so links between entries in hook results get their href.
Signed webhooks to your own URL on every plan, a new Integrations page for Slack, Discord, Telegram, GitHub, Jira, Asana and Freshdesk on Pro and Ultra, and notifications for the people on a feedback post.
v1.24.0 — Free, Pro and Ultra plans
New featureKookee now has three plans: Free, Pro at $29 and Ultra at $99 a month. Paid plans bring more AI answers, projects and API requests, and leave the "powered by kookee.dev" link out of your portal.
Add fields of your own to blog posts, help articles, changelog entries, pages, announcements and feedback posts. Fill them in, filter the feedback board by them, and choose which ones your site can read. On Pro and Ultra.
Word, PDF, HTML and Markdown imports now keep their pictures, stored by Kookee and kept as a draft for review. PDF text keeps its headings, lists and formatting, and the original file downloads from the article.
v1.21.0 — Import files into your help center
New featureDrop Markdown, HTML, Word, PDF or image files on the new Import files tab, and each becomes a help article. Scanned pages are read by AI, every file gets a content check, and the AI chat now finds the matching passages anywhere in a long article.
Ask Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP client to translate a blog post or help article: the translation is linked to the original and its category, and is marked outdated when the original changes. Plus categories for your blog and the site widget in German.
Add Kookee as a connector in Claude, ChatGPT or VS Code with one URL: sign in, choose Read and write or Read only, and you are connected. One connection reaches all your projects, and you can disconnect it under Security in your account settings.
Ask AI is now a tab like the others, so the widget can be your help center, your news and a feedback form with no AI at all. Plus a loading state while the widget's settings arrive, and clearer tab settings.
v1.17.0 — A Feedback tab in the site widget
New featureVisitors can send an idea or a bug report from the widget, with no account. Messages wait privately on your Feedback page until you add them to the board. Plus the chat tab is now Ask AI, and assistants can file feedback over MCP.
The widget follows the language of the page it is on: its own text in five languages, your articles in that language, and answers in the language the visitor writes in. Plus language matching that understands pt-BR and en-US.
Upload an image for the top of the widget's Home instead of the accent color. The project logo moves to Project settings, so it no longer needs the public portal. Plus a fix for a thin line under Home's header.
The chat widget gets two more tabs: Home, with your news and links, and Help, with search and your articles. Articles open inside the widget, any link on your page can open one, and the tabs, texts and links are saved in the dashboard.
@kookee/react picks up what Kookee's own portal had built on top of it: a collapsible tag list, cover placeholders, changelog authors, help view counts, a roadmap category filter and search highlighting. Search excerpts now start on a whole word and show the match.
@kookee/react now ships server-rendered components for the pages around your product: a blog, a changelog, a help center and a read-only roadmap, with filters, pagination, a table of contents, reactions, a what's-new badge and search as you type.
Owners and admins can now share a join link instead of typing addresses — optionally restricted to your own email domains, and expiring in 7 or 30 days. Every project also shows what its plan allows, from team seats to entries and API keys.
A new KookeeChat.setTheme() call switches the script widget between light, dark and auto while it runs — no reload, and an open conversation keeps going.
Assistants connected over MCP can upload screenshots, diagrams and documents, embed them in the entries they write and set a cover image. The file goes from your machine straight to storage.
